Shamanism is an earth/ nature-based spiritual path found in many indigenous, as well as modern, traditions around the world. Throughout history the shaman was someone who, within their tribe or community, played many roles: healer, diviner, storyteller, counselor, priest, leader. As such, Shamans have been able to guide and heal their communities through their connection with spirits of the land, their skill in tracking problematic patterns and energies, and their ability to travel between the spirit realms. Presently, there has been a resurgence of interest for Shamanism, leading many people onto a path of healing and growth through reclaiming their lives on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.
