Venus Retrograde by Tracey Brown

Have you noticed that your relationships have been in a funk lately. Maybe it’s been like this for a couple of months now and there just does not seem to be any end insight. Well, your relationship is in the hands of another woman and her name is Venus. Yes your man is having an affair and you and he did not know it. But I am here to tell you how to handle this woman.

The Facts

Let begin with some facts: First a retrograde is a planet that is moving much slower than usually appearing at times not to be moving or seemingly going in reverse it so slow. When a planet like Venus goes retrograde it affects our relationships. Venus turns retrograde once every eighteen months and for 40+ days and and is stationary for 11 of those days.  Venus went retrograde on May 15 and will stay there until June 27th 2012. Picture this:  while Venus is retrograde she is a woman sleeping catching up on her beauty rest. Venus deals with all matters of love in our lives, which includes lust, desires, romance and marriage. Venus deals with all forms of partnerships and the pursuit of any forms of sexual pleasures. She carries with her the ability for artistic endeavors, social behaviors, coupled with aesthetic taste which includes cooking and perfumes and clothing and makeup. I mean the list goes on and on as to what Venus controls in our lives. Which is why she must sleeps now. She’s been so busy and so active in our everyday daily lives that she sleeps to catch up on her beauty, her ideas, and sensitivities so that when she does emerge again, she is vibrant and fun and exploratory and a true go getter.

Where have all the men gone?

The problem that I have with Venus in retrograde is that she carries with her feminine energy (which a lot of females are already born with) but she taps into the feminine side of our men and that’s what I have a problem with.  Have you notice in the last 30 days or so that your man has not been proactive in the pursuit of you. Is he not calling you like he would have back in March? Is he not as talkative or loving like he was just a few months ago? Do you not recognized him and is he less caring about you and your needs than before? Well blame the the other women in his life right now and that woman is Venus.

Picture this: Venus is asleep and stretch out on a chaise lounge, being coddled by all of the men of the world including yours, being stroke on her buttocks, hair and arms, fans are brought in by our men to ensure that her sleep will be enjoyed. They (our men) dare not disturb her for fear of her unhappiness. Oh, did I mention that there is a flip side to the beauty that is Venus, she can be self centered, self indulgent and vain which are some of the qualities that come out in our men while she sleeps. Our men almost become unrecognizable during the period of her retrograde. They would rather deal with money issues and concerns in their daily work environment ( which brings in money ) than to deal with you right now. Yes, if you haven’t already guessed it Venus controls how our money comes and goes and the financial conditions in our daily lives.

You may say, So what I don’t care about Venus, all I know is my man is acting funky right now and I don’t like it!  You may also say, I am here and Venus is a myth and she is not going to control me and my love life. Let me be the one to educate you in that having a little knowledge can go along way in savaging what remains with your love interested. When Venus goes retrograde the men tap into their feminine side and cannot deal with more than one woman. They instinctual know that if she sleeps so they sleep too. They also say to themselves, however long it takes they will emotionally be taking care of her. Venus is truly in control of our daily lives and if we take a moment to understand how she rules our lovers,  and if we patiently wait until she reemerges than we can and will be the better for it. Trust me!

Before May 15th 2012

Before Venus went retrograde, I was being pursued by men of all ages, race and cultures, I like that diversity. You see I have Venus in Gemini and men of all diversities suits me just fine. But since the retrograde that is Venus, I get nothing.  I mean, minimal phone calls, cancellations on dates, (some don’t even bother to cancel just don’t show up at all) I have an online profile on two sites that have literally died. Yes, with all that I have have in me (and I have a lot of Venus energy with my Rising sign in Libra) there is nothing I can do to resurrect any male interests until the retrograde is done and that wont be until June 27 2012.

Respect that Woman

I personally respect Venus and all that she brings to the table and what she stands for. It’s like attending an eight course meal and having to enjoy it all without being full. She governs our desires and and our lustful traits, she shines brighter than any star, she is all about beauty. She governs how we express our selves be it music, dance, art, crafting, molding, creative writing. She governs how we love and deal with our emotions and our friendships. She controls our money including issues on pure luck. She is nurturing and has a deep sense of motherly love. She is harmonious and brings balance to that which is unbalanced. Like a woman scorned Venus has an opposite side of all her positive traits so I will not interfere with her sleep and neither should you. Just let your man be until June 27th 2012. He will return to you and be fully engaging toward you for the next couple of years. All those that are single, now is the time to prepare. Change that hair color if you want to, diet if you wish, look at your clothing see what needs to be taken out and what new things new to be brought in so that you will be positioned well to attract men when Venus wakes up. Men will be on fire and hungry for love again. Trust me!  Let me end this blog with a prayer:

Prayer to Venus

To my dear Venus,

Although you are sleeping right now

I understand your need for rest

I also understand your need to have men resting with you.

My hope is that your rest is pleasant and enjoyed so that

upon awakening I can use your energy to regain my position with my man

here on Earth.

I love you Venus and I appreciate how you show up in my life

Help me to take what I have learned about you and use it to the

best of my humanly ability.

Please assist me with healthy relationships and with a

relationship free of monetary concerns, coupled with an

emotional balance that would also allow for

sensual pleasures in the boudoir.

I trust that God as created you for me and now that I understand you

and how you show up for me in my life,

I pray to God that I can use your energy

for positive love, harmonious balance, justice for all and

an abundance of healthy unabridged sex
